Robert Gee is APAC Head of Sell-side Trading Solutions Sales at Bloomberg, responsible for strengthening the company’s business partnerships and developing its sell-side product strategies for the region.
A core focus for his business is to support the client’s digitisation journey, primarily by enhancing their electronic trading and risk management technology. Robert oversees sell-side product strategy across APAC for the firm, responsible for launching and implementing Bloomberg’s suite of advanced technology and services to help improve operational efficiency in developed and emerging markets. He leads a team of diverse talent across the region and is an active male ally and D&I Council Member at Bloomberg, committed to driving greater progress and inclusion within the firm.
Robert has worked at Bloomberg for more than 15 years across different roles and geographies. He has partnered with both sell-side and buy-side firms across Bloomberg’s Fixed Income Analytics, Trading and Community software businesses in New York, London and most recently Singapore. In his spare time, Robert is passionate about travelling, cycling and is an avid collector of records. He graduated from King’s College London with a Bachelor of Arts in Modern Languages.
